Easily Make Money Online

Written by admin on July 20, 2009

I’ll bet you have probably read a lot of headlines that sound similar to this one above, or make promises like this one seems to. You have probably even read some of those articles all the way to the end, even clicked on some of the links in the article and read all the information on those links. You might have finished the article and then broken up into hysterical laughter… no way can I make money doing that; I can’t promote that, do that, write about that, endorse that… or whatever that! IT WILL DESTROY MY REPUTATION!

Done well, it can enhance your brand. I’m going to give you some tips that will give you an opportunity to monetize your website or blog, while preserving your brand. One of the best and easiest ways to monetize your online properties is to join some affiliate programs and advertise them on your site.

Affiliate programs are the answer

Why affiliate programs? Simple. Affiliate marketing allow you to sell products without having to build or create them yourself. All the work of writing an eBook, or recording an audio track, or programming a software product is taken care of by someone else. But the advantages don’t stop there. Also, you don’t have to create marketing materials and graphical materials – those are created for you by the affiliate program owner.

Another advantage is that you don’t have to manually keep track of ROI or conversion rates. Really good affiliate programs will provide you with affiliate management tools that are based on one of the top affiliate software programs. Software programs like these will enable you to check how your ads are doing and what your commissions are.

Five tips for choosing affiliate offers to promote

  1. Look good earnings potential – You want to make sure that if one of the people you refer to an affiliate offer buys, that you will make some decent money. Some experts recommend that you look for high percentages. My preference is to look for affiliate program where you make a large commission from a referral. This affiliate program for promoting SEO services gives you the opportunity to earn monthly recurring income up to $350.
  2. Choose programs your readers will like – It is critical that you choose affiliate programs and offers that your audience will appreciate and be interested in. It wouldn’t be very effective to choose to promote affiliate programs and products for chocolate desserts on a site that is dedicated to losing weight. However, if you have a website that helps people find careers is sales, it would be great to promote something like How to Get Into Medical Sales.

  3. Look for affiliate programs powered by software – When you sign up for an affiliate program it will quickly become obvious if the owner of the program is serious about helping affiliate members be successful. If you are redirected to a page powered by a top-tier affiliate marketing software program, you can infer that this is a serious affiliate program. If they treat your membership in the affiliate program haphazardly, how do you think they treat their customers. Their are several top name brands like iDev Affiliate, LinkShare, and JROX JAM. My favorite is JROX JAM, which you can get for free here: http://websitesthatdrivesales.com/recommends/free-affiliate-management-software.htm

  4. Make sure the website is NOT anonymous – What I mean is, make sure that there are real people standing behind the website, people with good reputations, who take customer service seriously. Affiliate program owners who tell you who they are, give you contact information with phone numbers aren’t very likely to be fly-by-night. They aren’t likely to try to avoid paying you the commissions that you have earned. If you find a picture, bio, and phone number of the website owner, chances are they will behave legitimately. You will also be able to search the Internet to find any negative information about their program. Peggy McKee, the Medical Sales Recruiter, is one of the country’s leading sales recruiters – she proudly announces her site ownership on the about pages like this one: http://30-60-90-day-sales-plan.com/about/

  5. Choose affiliate programs that have support programs – If you are choosing a piece of software to buy, you probably wouldn’t purchase it if there was not support mechanism in place. It would be wise to use similar criteria when evaluating affiliate offerings. If the vendor doesn’t have a support system in place – something like a help desk or help desk software – then they probably don’t care about their customers. When they do, then you can be rest assured that they are trying to keep customers satisfied. If they AREN’T keeping customers happy, their poor service will reflect poorly on you, and tarnish your online brand.

There are a couple of affiliate programs that meet all these criteria, that I recommend if your site’s visitors would be interested in these subjects. One is an affiliate program for a sales interview tool that targets sales professionals – you can check it out here: http://30-60-90-day-sales-plan.com/affiliate-program-details/. The other is a program that has a broader appeal – it targets people who own businesses that either have no web presence or under performing websites; you can get all the information for it here: http://websitesthatdrivesales.com/blog/home/affiliate-program/

Getting More Backlinks

Written by admin on July 19, 2009

If you’ve been blogging for a while now, you’re probably wondering about what backlinks are, and how they can help you make money blogging more effectively.  Backlinks, which are also called “incoming links”, are links to your blog or blog pages that are put up on another blog or website.  If a fellow blogger puts up a link that directs his readers to your site, that in itself counts as a backlink.

Of course, backlinks aren’t just some little detail that bloggers can forget about.  In fact, they’re responsible for your success as a blogger, and have a direct effect on your blog’s ranking on major search engines.  The more backlinks your blog has, the higher its rank will be on Google and other search engines.  If you have more backlinks for a keyword that other blogs are already targeting, your ranking on search engines will be much higher, therefore making you more accessible to the online community.

You also have to know that backlinks are better if they contain a keyword that’s already targeted by your blog.  You also have to know about “anchor text”, which is basically a backlink that contains your targeted keywords.  These kinds of backlinks have a stronger pull on Google, so aim to get more of these, as well.  Here are some of the ways by which you can start getting backlinks and blogging more profitably:

1.  Comment on other blogs:
The best way to introduce yourself to other bloggers is by posting comments on their entries.  Of course, you shouldn’t just post any comment for the sake of putting up one.  Instead, leave a thoughtful comment that’s relevant to the post in question, and don’t forget to include your URL at the bottom of your comment.  If you want to take things a step further, use your targeted keyword as your username, which will also be linked back to your own blog.

2.  Hop onto forum boards:
Another way to collect more backlinks is by joining a forum board where you can socialize with other like-minded people about subjects that your blog is already dealing with.  Be active in these forum boards, and make informative and helpful contributions on various topics that might arise in these boards.  Be as polite and friendly as you can, leave your URL at your signature, and you’ll have people clicking over to your blog before you know it.

3.  Link baiting:
Link baiting is the practice of writing about hot news or controversial topics about the niche that your blog is focused on.  If you can pounce on breaking news about your niche and write a really good entry about that topic, you’re bound to get some people linking back to you.  This method’s a little trickier (because you’ll have to work at making your post unique and special), but it’s very good at making a lasting impression on your blog readers and visitors. Just make sure your title of your post contains the keyword that you’re targeting as it’ll be easy for webmasters to copy that as the anchor text for their backlinks to your blog post.

As you can see, getting more backlinks isn’t the hardest thing to do.  Just don’t neglect the part about dishing out good content that will impress readers and keep them coming back to your site.  In the end, there’s still no better way to promote yourself – and getting backlinks – than by writing great posts that your visitors will remember you for.

History of Blogging – A Must Read!

Written by admin on July 17, 2009

We need to trace when and where the word originated when we discuss the history of blogging. The history of blogging formally started when the term “weblog” was used by G. Raikundalia and M.Reese, two lecturers from Bond University, in the Gold Coast of Australia. It was during a conference on August 14, 1985 when the word was coined on a paper presented which is entitled “ Exploiting the World Wide Web for Electronic Meeting Document Analysis and Management” which talked about the utilization of an access on a web browser to different meeting manuscript information, for instance, minutes, reports, tabled manuscripts and document catalogs.

It is very interesting to note that the word “weblog” has not been used on the residual records of the paper, which is currently hosted by a website at the Charles Sturt University. However, the term was used on its approved context in a post at Usenet furthering the documents delivery at Bond which was published on August 6, 1995.

If we look at the history of blogging, the famous term “weblog” came from a person by the name of Jorn Barger of the weblog Robot Wisdom. This phenomenon dated back in December 1997.

Today, the beginnings of contemporary blogging is always the subject of an argument between what web-blogging or simply blogging is.  To some people, blogs are being referred to as web pages or web sites with website webpage design that offer links and remarks to other sites, and it is from this foundation that contemporary blogs have emerged.

Justin Hall, in January year 1994 has launched Justin’s Home Page which later developed to become links from the Underground. Justin’s Home Page consisted of reviews and links to other sites. Remarkably, Hall on January 10 of the year 1996 started writing an online journal with entries that are dated daily, however, each daily entry is connected by with an index page.. Some entries that he has posted included topics about his life and how his day went during that day.

In February 1996, Dave Winer has written a blog that recorded the 24 Hours of Democracy Project. Also during the same year in April, Winer inaugurated a new web site for the Frontier Software’s users. It has evolved into becoming Scripting News in the year 1997, which is considered to be one of the oldest blogs remaining in the World Wide Web today.

The history of blogging continued to flourish after Jorn Barger introduced the word weblog into famous use in December of year 1997. Blogging, as we are familiar with nowadays continued to evolve.

In the year 1998, a man by the name of Cameron Barett has published on Camworld the first ever listing of blogsites. It was during the year 1999 where blogging has gone through extensive development. It was also during this year where Pyra Labs, now owned by Google has inaugurated the Free Blogger blogging service which offered simple set of tools for almost anyone who wants to start blogging. Now today, blogging has evolved in becoming a great tool for SEO to promote web traffic by placing links in blogs.

Sony Ericsson Mobile

Written by admin on July 17, 2009

Sony Ericsson is a joint venture that was established in October
2001. The two companies results could be a lot better for both parties
if they combined Sony’s experience in electronics with Ericsson’s
history in communications. Thus, the Sony Ericsson mobile phones
appeared as the result of this union, proving that the business
decision for the merger was one of the happiest possible.

There are other electronic equipment items produced besides the Sony
Ericsson mobile phones, such as wireless systems, hi-tech accessories,
wireless voice devices and all sorts of other gear products. The
company was propelled way ahead of its competitors thanks to the phones
in the cyber-shot and the Walkman series. Candy bar phones are also
very popular besides the Walkman and the cyber-shot designs.

Sony Erricson mobile phones appeal to users of all ages and social
conditions because of their great design and technical features. They
look sleek and stylish, but they also meet high operational standards.
Moreover, their interface which is user-friendly and intuitive together
with their very reasonable prices contribute to their popularity. These
phones have slide opening mechanisms and are available in different
colors.

The focus of Sony Ericsson has lately shifted to the
following categories: camera, business, design, music, all-rounder and
budget-focused mobile phones. Actually the five largest Sony Ericsson
mobile categories are: the Walkman-branded W series music phones, the
Cyber-shot  branded line of phones, the Xperia range of mobile phones,
the UIQ smart-phone products, and the BRAVIA-branded line of phones.

The Sony Ericsson mobile phones that belong to the Walkman series were
launched in 2005. They marked a great innovation moment because of the
music-centric features unavailable with other phones. The Cyber-shot
phones were produced in 2006 as the newer K series. These rely on the
quality of the auto-focus camera incorporated in the phone. The UIQ
smart-phone mobiles are famous for their touch screens, QWERTY keypads
and use of the UIQ interface platform from Symbian OS.

The
mobile phones in the Xperia range got public in February 2008 at the
Mobile World Congress organized at Barcelona. This telephone led the
path to integrating the Windows Mobile Operating System for the Sony
Ericsson powerhouse smart-phone. Finally, the BRAVIA line of  Sony
Ericsson mobile phones was launched on the Japanese market in 2007.

Best Blog Hosting Services

Written by admin on July 15, 2009

Don’t be fooled:  no two blog hosting services are the same, and if you truly want to make money blogging, finding the right blogging service is actually crucial to your game.  After all, not all blog services provide the same suite of features, and some are bound to be better at supporting a money-making blog than the rest.

So which of the biggest names in the industry takes our vote?  Here’s a shortlist of what you can expect from blog providers, and why some of them are the best when it comes to monetizing your site:

1.  Blogger.com

Blogger.com offers free blog hosting that’s easy and convenient to use – you don’t even have to know HTML or any other com.  The only downside to Blogger.com blogs is that they don’t provide a lot of money-making tools to aspiring professional bloggers.  For instance, Blogger.com doesn’t support static pages, plugins (little chunks of code that you can squeeze into your blog to boost its functionality and money-making capacity), nor  does it have an automatic analytics function that will track your traffic for you.

If you’re into blogging only as a hobby, for personal reasons, or just for kicks, Blogger’s simplicity will definitely fit your purposes,  If you want to make money, however, Blogger probably can’t support your site very well, as opposed to other hosting services.

2.  WordPress
When it comes to WordPress, you essentially have two choices:  one, to go with their free, hosted service at WordPress.com, or two, to put up your self-hosted, fully customizable blog with WordPress.org.  The former, WordPress.com, bears a striking resemblance to Blogger.com’s platform, except that it has a sprinkling of additional features, such as automatic site tracking, a dashboard text editor, and a spam blocker.

WordPress.org, on the other hand, supports monetization much better than WordPress.com can.  The downloadable blogging software doesn’t cost a thing, and, unlike WordPress.com, will let you download thousands of free templates and money-making plugins to enhance your blog’s functionality.  The problem with this is that you’ll have to find and pay for web hosting to your own blog.  WordPress.org also tends to be very confusing to newbie bloggers, and will actually require at least some technical skills before you can finally put up your blog.

3.  SOLOBIS.net
If you haven’t heard of the SOLOBIS.net WordPress Plan yet, it’s because this service is the newest one in the blogging industry.  Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s fresh, though.  This service looks like it can outdo the current giants, simply because it provides a solution that the big names don’t: it gives bloggers the best of both worlds.

Upon signing up for a SOLOBIS account, you will immediately receive a blog that has a SOLOBIS.net subdomain (e.g., www.johnsmith.solobis.net).  SOLOBIS.net blogs are run on the WordPress engine, which is good news for WordPress enthusiasts, since you’ll already be familiar with the controls.  The great thing about this service is that it combines the ease of use and convenience of WordPress.com with the customization and monetization capacities of WordPress.org.  Each SOLOBIS.net blog is already bundled with the best money-making plugins in the WordPress scene, along with over a hundred beautiful templates to choose from.

The fact that these themes and plugins are pre-installed in your blog means that you won’t have to waste time running around and looking for the right tools that will help you make money blogging.  In fact, if you think of it, your SOLOBIS.net blog is actually ready to make money way before you are.  It’s perfect for beginners who want to learn how to blog profitably without losing their heads, and it’s just as great for experienced bloggers who can only stand to benefit from all those money-making tools.

Although Blogger.com and WordPress.com are great for beginners, they fail to provide adequate support for blogs that will ultimately be monetized.  And while WordPress.org definitely provides top-notch service and a lot of customization legroom, turning up a profit can take a long while, since you’ll have to do all the work on your own.  With SOLOBIS.net, however, a blogger doesn’t have to be an expert to start making money right away — all the tools are already there, waiting to be run towards big profits.  From the looks of it, you can’t find a better combination of convenience, versatility, and profitability as the one that the SOLOBIS.net WordPress Plan is already offering to its users.

The Definition of Blogging

Written by admin on July 14, 2009

Do you have a lot of things in your mind that you want other people to know? Do you have comments about certain issues that you want to share to others? Do you have new information that you want others to learn? Do you love to write articles that you want many people to read? If your answer to one or all of the questions is yes then blogging is for you. What is blogging? Generally, blogging is described as a way of writing about something that you want other people to read over the internet. It is a way of expressing your thoughts and feelings for others to know.

However, blogging can take a lot of meaning, depending on who will be the one doing it. What is blogging for many young people? For most teenagers and the youth, it is one way to socialize in the net. It is their venue to connect with the people their age, with the people who share the same interests. For example there are social networks that allow users to write blogs. To keep your friends on coming back, just keep writing interesting blogs that will catch their attention.

What is blogging for people in the academe? For professors, scholars and students, it is a way for them to share and exchange ideas about topics like the newest development in the search for the cure for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or for the latest techniques in robotics. By writing blogs, they can present their researches for possible comments and suggestions. They can also reach out to people who are uninterested in academic stuff and would rather surf the Internet than read these blogs.

What is blogging for entrepreneurs? Blogging is a way for them to get more web traffic and advertise their products. Some entrepreneurs create their own blogs where they can post promotional gimmicks, testimonials and reviews. Thos into newbie marketing buy ad spaces in other blogs to reach possible customers. Some sponsor blogs for promotion.

Some people consider blogging as a source of their income. These are the people whom entrepreneurs go to for promotion of their products if they cannot or do not want to create their own blogs. Entrepreneurs look for blogs with niche topics that are directly related or in some way associated with their products. It’s one rule of SEO For example, people selling cellular phones or computers look for blogs that talk about different gadgets. They get to be exposed to their target market.

Some bloggers write blogs to create niche blogs so they can attract advertisers. They can just simply write about a certain topic and offer ad spaces for products related to what they write. There are some who write something and then mention a product name which is linked to that product’s own website. They also offer to write good reviews for certain products and also get paid doing it.

If you want to have your own blog, examine your intentions. Ask yourself why you want to have a blog and then tailor fit your blog according to your intentions. You can even have several blogs to answer your different needs. There is no rule that says that you have to be confined in just one area only. The possibilities are endless when it comes to blogging. You just have to explore blogging and benefit from it.

Learning How to Make Money Blogging

Written by admin on July 12, 2009

There are two big ways that bloggers are using to make money blogging. The most common way to profit on your blog is to sell advertising to different companies and brands who looking to reach your audience demographics. The second way to money making blogging is to help a single brand improve its image by creating positive associations between the blog and the product in the mind of consumers. If the blooger implementing these methods has a good marketing mind then there can be some good money made and better yet a positive experience for the company.

If your goal is to make money blogging by selling advertising then there are a two of ways to go about it and they are to either sell the advertising yourself or outsource this task to a company that does this. Within the first group, many websites make money blogging by running Google ads. The advantages of this program are numerous, as it requires very little effort on the part of the blogger or webmaster to begin raking in profits. However, most people discover that they make less money through this method than they had hoped that their blog would earn.

Selling advertising directly to companies who want to put banner ads or sponsored links on your blog can take quite a bit of time, but it is often fairly lucrative. If you have a lot of contacts in industries that are related to the topic of your blog, you may want to try to go this route. People who have a strong background in sales and are experienced at pitching proposals can make quite a bit of money by renting blog space to interested companies. The most serious problem with this model is that you often have to build quite a sizable readership before you can attract advertisers, which can mean that you have to do several months of work before you start to make money blogging.

As blogging becomes a more and more lucrative business, a lot of established companies are considering how they can get into the action. One thing companies are realizing the a blog done right can provide a kind of friendly face for their corporation. Often, a company will employ an established blogger to create a weblog designed specifically to appeal to that company’s customers and to create positive associations with the brand in consumers’ minds. These oppotunity for both bloggers and companies to come together for mutual benefit are becoming more and more common.
